Alma is an all natural Australian sea salt made from the seawater of The Great Barrier Reef. It will be sold in all major Australian airports as a gift/ souvenir to tourists after their time in Australia. The brand name Alma meaning soul is a reflection of where this unique Australian sea salt comes from the worlds largest ecosystem The Great Barrier Reef, the 'soul' of the oceans.

Differentiating from cool tones commonly seen in sea salt packaging Alma Sea Salt brings a bold bright and warm colour pallet inspired by the beautiful corals found in The Great Barrier Reef. The pattern is inspired by the beautiful forms the reef shapes from an aerial perspective, this combined with a speckled salt pattern gives the packaging a textural element and hints to the product held within.

This pouch style packaging was designed to be reusable as a souvenir for travelers, with an array of uses such as a toiletries bag, handbag or to store and keep salt fresh. This packaging not only gives tourists a souvenir of Australia but also keeps it out of landfill to help protect our Great Barrier Reef.

Alma packaging is made from Kraft Tex paper which is a sustainable material that is machine washable. Making it a durable long lasting pouch however you use it!

What's Unique?
The unique pouch form of the packaging is not commonly seen in sea salt packaging but allows the package to not only be super sustainable but also very practical for tourists! The lightweight design of kraft tex paper and form of the pouch makes it easy to slide into travelers bag without adding too much extra weight on top of the weight of the salt. Kraft-tex paper is not only sustainably sourced but also designed machine washable allowing the bag to be reused as a toiletries bag or to store more salt rather than being thrown away!
