Packaging Substrate / Materials: Wood, concrete and acrylic
The project consists of the design of packaging of various materials where the form will be explored at its maximum expression, boxes were not allowed. The knowledge of information, materials, and forms was applied through a package in which I explore with experimental materials such as wood and concrete because it was important to explore different options.
We had to deliver 2 packages with high quality, functionality, and labels. The design of the shaped packaging was free to choose, and it was important that the 2 packages were part of the same concept.
My packages complement each other by the form and labels through design.
For the label illustrations I took inspiration from the landscape we usually see at harvest fields where rice and beans are sown, one represents sunsets and the other one the daylight, that's why the form of these packages are opposites in shape and material.
We're not used to seeing packages in these shapes, much less in these materials.
On the other hand, Cosmo & Wanda offers protection and storage; something that all of the packages of these products don't provide in the way they should do and we end up closing bags with elastic rubber bands.
