Melon seeds have been a traditional Chinese snack put out in family gatherings for centuries and the traditional game “Go” also has a history that dates back for more centuries. By combining the two into one single package, Go Seeds provides both aspects of snacking and playing. The container opens up, holding four packets of seeds held in place by two trays, which can be used as platters to hold the seeds and discard of shells. It also provides as containers to hold the “chess” pieces. By turning over the box and placing it flat, it becomes a 12x12 board game surface, perfect as a conversation starter or a party gift.

What's Unique?
What makes Go Seeds unique is that the portable container becomes a board game surface that can be played on; laser etched to mimic traditional wooden go game boards. The bilingual packaging also combines numerous printing techniques including risograph printing, vinyl printing, laser cutting and embossing.
