Gold is pure and eternal. It is associated with wealth and prosperity.

These characteristics form the perception of gold among middle east people. To celebrate the miracle of a newborn child or to share the happiness of the newlyweds, people traditionally choose gold as a present. Gold is more divine then monetary in these lands. The peacock is an epitome of beauty, and considered to be sacred and a good sign by many cultures.

To emphasize the "divine" perception of gold, the visual of a peacocks beauty felt so natural.

What's Unique?
The substitution of the eyes on peacock feather with the gold coins is the main idea of this design. They are both sparkling. Their delicate nature that can filter and reflect different wavelengths of light makes them one.
