This project was inspired by the Hawaiian surf lifestyle, with tiki totems, refreshing waves and the most incredible fruit flavours.

To start 6 fruit flavours were designed and the company needed to create branding and packaging for them. Because of the intensity of the flavours and the massive appeal to surfing in Australia, the connection with Polynesian people is a massive theme at the moment in the world, so we decided to get close to that theme and approach the project from a that concept.

We created the name KAHUNA, that means "important person" in Maori, or "big wave" for the surfing community. 6 flavours and each one of them received the name of famous waves and surfings spots in the world: Pipeline, Maveryck's, Cloud 9, Cloudbreak, Superbank and Many Bay, where the selected names.

For each one of them, we created a tiki totem as a representation for each one of the flavours and the colour palette of the labels is a representation of the flavours.
