Mettyu was born in February 2013 when the idea of having a new color in the nightlife of Budapest was introduced by a small group of friends, and the New Meat party series have been started. For over 6 years Mettyu has been pursuing his own musical path.
Important past events: HeyDay, Distriqt, Queerlegal, Szimpla Sonar, Arkádia, Pride, Vibe, Oops, Garcons, New Meat, WoW and other events like Hababa Design Store exhibition opening, GalleryWeekendBudapest official opening ceremony and several corporate events.
“Having fun and entertaining!” - Interaction with the audience is as important as feeling the vibes.
In terms of today’s local opportunities, there are many DJs in Hungary, among them there are few outstanding and high-quality performers. Few of them has their own brand, image, or even a unique vinyl case. (But do not forget that everyone can be a DJ for an evening.)
Mettyu’s brand includes its own logo, pattern, business card, letter, envelope, sticker, flyer, poster, facebook cover and vinyl case. The characteristic of the brand and the packaging is that also feminine and masculine, pure and pop-up. It becomes really trendy, vibrant and youthful with their secondary colors. Packaging is not made ordinary by the drop-forged front panel. Based on the six models of Needscope, packaging strives to remain structured and minimalist.
The target audience is primarily the 20-30-year-olds who are already active or studying still in college. Also, those who are nightcrawlers, rave visitors, illegal event lovers or festival faces.
