Mortar is a brewery based in Boulder, Colorado. Their brand is all about artistry meeting masonry to form the perfect tasting beer. The brand is greatly inspired by Freemasonry mixed with a little bit of the oddities and mystique of the Illuminati. The logo is derived from a hammer used to forge steel, and an eye in the center to go along with the strange symbols of the Illuminati.

Typography, geometric patterns and icons are used through out the label of the can to go along with the etched style of vintage Freemason documents and etchings on dollar bills. The brewery produces 3 types of beer that come in different packages using color with an over arching color scheme used through out the brand.
