On October 16, the wonderful poet and musician Sergei "Oldie" Belousov, the leader of the best Russian reggae team "The Heat Protection Committee", would have turned 52 years old. In honor of Oldie's birthday, the bands "Lyapis Trubetskoy" and "Karibasy" are releasing a joint mini-album called Oldi. Serёnity Dub.

This EP includes four Lyapisov tracks remixed by Dmitry "DimDimych" Vasiliev ("Karibasy"): he made reggae and dub mixes for the songs "Africa" and "Goldfish". DimDimych also came up with a name for the release, while working in the studio, he came across an old cassette cover, on which Oldie's hand was written: Serenity Dub (serenity, translated from English, means calmness).
