Khadi has a range of organic skincare products.
"qudrat" is a hypothetical product line(in gift packaging) designed for the brand, Khadi. It is an attempt towards a 'no plastic' packaging.
This packaging consists of a set of four essential oils - Sandalwood, Apricot, Vanilla and Eucalyptus. There are three options, depending upon the external appearance of this gift package.
The packaging consists of three layers. The innermost is the glass bottles that are placed in a (test tube form) stand, then this is inserted into an 'angle-cut' wooden box and finally covered with a cuboid (wooden) frame wrapped in burlap and sealed with a brown cloth band.
The look and form of the package has been kept minimal, but has been beautifully designed to depict an ethnic look. The block print on the package, adds on to this traditional appearance. The choice of materials and colors, strongly gives out a feeling of it being raw, natural and earthy. The burlap, wood, cork give a very tactile aspect to the user experience thus making it feel handmade and real.
Overall, it becomes a perfect "gift of fragrance" for someone!
Disclaimer - Khadi does not endorse this project. The brand name has been used for inspiration.
The plus point of this packaging is its multi-use factor. This adds on to the lifespan of the package. The components of this packaging can turn into a planter, a pen stand, a mini storage unit as per the user’s will. This gives the user complete freedom to customize the post usage of the components of this packaging.
Also, usage of materials like cork, adds on to the natural and biodegradable aspect.
