Hi I'm Rana Galal a graphic designer focused in visual identities and loves to create new brands and explore different designs. I was asked to create a brand identity for myself that reflects my personality and work. I’m a character of black or white. I can define myself as an expressive and energetic Mcdonald's drive thru girl with a curious thoughts and a sunflower spirit with a rock n roll eyes. And as for me graphic design has no rules or limits and it gets me out of my routine.

The design reflection: "R" is the strongest element, it was created to combine all my name's letters forming my signature identity in a symmetrical form.

My brand's emblem represents my Gemini horscope (happy/sad) sign. My graphic elements are almost basic shapes as I really do believe that every powerful design starts with a basic shape. Also different illustration styles are created to make the brand more fun and have no limits.

What's Unique?
The color palette is mainly inspired by my favorite food brand: Mcdonald's (yellow, green, blue and red). Also basic colors are my go to palette, especially black and white. They represent me!

Finally, my personal branding was exhibited at my university in 2020.
