The Latin Quarter is a playing card and gaming chip project originally released on Kickstarter and available through retail channels in 2020. It was conceived as a fanciful interpretation of cards and chips for an illegal casino that existed in Lexington Kentucky 100 years ago. The cards and chips were designed to appeal to collectors of playing cards, boardgamers, magicians, and cardists. The project included creating a unique vintage brand for a casino from a different era. The branding was developed and applied to the design of the tuck boxes for the cards, multiple foil seals for the various options, the card backs, the gaming chip graphics, the wooden box for the chips, dice. The result was a full suite of products to be sold to collectors that featured unique and highly detailed vintage branding.

What's Unique?
The Latin Quarter is a complex, multi-faceted recreation of all the ephemera of a casino from a different time. It includes the brand design and the application to cards, chips, chip cases, dice, etc. Unique in its design and execution the Latin Quarter was a lofty undertaking with great results both aesthetically and commercially.
