Idea:
The idea behind the concept was to offer different product sizes in stores: a small, inexpensive box allows the consumer to try this unknown product without spending too much money, whilst bigger sizes can be acquired afterwards as well. This also makes it easier to make the first choice as to which of the three different intensities of the ground green tea ultimately appeals to the consumer.

Graphic solution:
The packaging was made using a specially developed origami technique (a Japanese folding method), which is easy to associate with Japan, the origin of the tea. This method requires no glue whatsoever, which makes it sustainable and environmentally-friendly as well. The design itself speaks a clear graphic language that has a high recognition value. The colorfulness and the ornamentation used, which is based on the famous illustrations of waves from Buddhism, clearly and simply visualizes the increase in taste.

What's Unique?=
The unique folding method of the packaging, its sustainability and the clear graphic, informative language.
